What This Course Is About:
This refresher course will provide participants with the skills necessary to provide first aid for most “emergencies.” This course consists of the newest and latest updates in CPR for adults as well as a refresher in standard first aid.
What You’ll Learn:
Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies
Demonstrate the steps of high-quality CPR
Operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively
Provide first aid for common medical emergencies, including breathing problems, choking, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, diabetes-related issues, and seizures.
Manage environmental emergencies, such as heat and cold-related illnesses, bites and stings, poison exposure, and electrical injuries.
