CDL Hazmat Endorsement
This fully online, self‑paced course provides the required entry‑level driver training for the Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement. Approved by the BCA and listed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR), this course prepares drivers to take the Hazardous Materials Endorsement written test at their state DMV.

- To add the Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME), drivers must:
- Pass the HME knowledge test at a state driver exam station
- Apply for or renew the CDL at a full‑service exam station
- Complete a TSA Security Threat Assessment
- Acceptable identification documents can be found on the TSA website.

Training is delivered entirely online using the D2L Brightspace learning platform. Students work through 12 chapters at their own pace, including built-in quizzes and a practice exam. After completing the course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion by email, and ATCC will submit your information to the FMCSA TPR, allowing you to take your Hazardous Materials Endorsement written test at your state’s DMV.
Your registration fee includes all required materials, including the Minnesota Commercial Driver’s Manual and the J.J. Keller Hazmat Endorsement: Entry-Level Driver Training Manual.
