  4. Must hold a Commercial Learner’s Permit for 14 days before CDL road test
  5. Access to Private-owned truck for driving practice and behind the wheel training

What This Course Is About:

Start your career in commercial driving with our Hybrid CDL Training Program, designed to meet Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) federal requirements. This course combines online theory modules with hands-on, behind-the-wheel instruction, giving you the knowledge and practical experience to pass your CDL exam and succeed on the road.

Program Highlights:
Hybrid Format: 30 days of self-paced online theory plus in-person driving sessions
Instructor-Led Virtual Training: Four evening Zoom classes (5–7 PM)
Hands-On Driving: Pre-trip inspections, backing and parking maneuvers, and on-road driving
Final Driving Assessment
Certification: Upon completion, you’ll be listed on the Federal Registry and eligible for the CDL road test

Eligibility:

Minimum age: 18
Valid MN driver’s license
DOT physical exam
Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) required for behind-the-wheel training
